A lot of people have seen Kikker 5150 Hardknock motorcycles online, but they’ve never seen or heard one up close.  Consequently, one of the most common questions I get is “what does it sound like”?

I put together this short video to give you a better idea of how the motor sounds when the bike is fired up.  Be sure to listen to this video with good speakers and if possible, a subwoofer.  It will make a tremendous difference.

Incidentally, I didn’t make any adjustments to the audio, and the bass has not been enhanced at all.  The video was shot with a Kodak Zi6 which has a very sensitive built-in microphone.

The whole story started just a few month ago when Alex Anderson, Oliver Korittke, Niels-Peter Jensen, Evil Jared and Jan Hüwel were at a Party somewhere in Berlin. After the five guys had a few beers, they started to talk about there lives and what they want to do before they leave motherearth.

There was a bunch of crazy stuff on the papers but one thing really was the top dream, they all wanted to ride a real Chopper through a special country with endless roads and breathtaking nature to search for freedom and adventure! Just like Dennis Hopper, Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson back in the days in legendary road movie “Easy Rider”.

The idea of “Cheezy Rider” was born.
