I just got off the phone with the factory and I’ve got good news and bad news.  The bad new is that the new big bike (250 cc V-Twin) isn’t ready yet and they can’t commit to a release date.

The good news is that the classic Kikker 5150 Hardknock 200 cc and 125 cc kits are back in stock!  Even better, all of the factory color combinations are available (for now).

These kits always sell out quickly, and there is already a backlog of orders at the factory.  Order today for best selection!

We have sold the last of the small frame 200cc kits. We will not be selling these again any time soon. Instead, we have decided to offer the 200cc in the larger v-twin frame with 16″ wheels. Unfortunately there will be a wait of 60 days until the larger frames are available. There will be a price increase of $200 on the new larger framed 200cc kits, however if you place your order before May 1st you can purchase the new larger 200cc kit at the same price as before ($1,999 + shipping). We will still offer the 125cc kits in the smaller frame.

Not only is there the advantage of the 4″ larger frame, but the new kits can be upgraded to the springer front end and 21″ narrow front tire. Also, new 200cc kits can be upgraded to the 250cc V-Twin engine with a simple exchange of engine mounts and wiring harness.

A lot of people have seen Kikker 5150 Hardknock motorcycles online, but they’ve never seen or heard one up close.  Consequently, one of the most common questions I get is “what does it sound like”?

I put together this short video to give you a better idea of how the motor sounds when the bike is fired up.  Be sure to listen to this video with good speakers and if possible, a subwoofer.  It will make a tremendous difference.

Incidentally, I didn’t make any adjustments to the audio, and the bass has not been enhanced at all.  The video was shot with a Kodak Zi6 which has a very sensitive built-in microphone.
